On Monday the 27th of March 2017 I went on a Year 5 school camp to Waipara. Instead of wearing school uniform we got to wear mufti. After loading our luggage onto the bus we said goodbye to our parents and got on the bus, off we went!
After a long drive we finally reached Waipara. Then we went to our cabin and chose our beds and made them. We went to the hall for our lunch.
My first activity was BMX biking. The bikes were all broken and munted. The BMX track was bumpy and muddy, with muddy puddles. I stepped in one of the muddy puddles and it was sloshy around my shoes and socks. It felt weird and cold.
The other activities I did were: archery, rifle shooting, the confidence course, flying fox and the ant swing. By Stevie-Lee
