Cicada's Independent Literacy Contract and Tower of Books

Kia Ora Koutou,

We are starting week 3 running with learning conversations Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. If you still want to book it isn't too late check your emails or pop in and see us and we can slot you in.

This term the Cicada's reading group has started independent learning contracts. They have set up their own expectations and have spent a few weeks starting up their Chuck writing and getting used to managing their own learning.

Auckland with the Family and other Fabulous Creatures

Hi All,

The boys and I jumped on a plane and flew to Auckland for a weekend visit to see my aunty and my cousins. We went to Kelly Tarlton's Underworld which is an amazing underground aquarium....We visited our whanau and some old friends from Christchurch....and we went to the awesome Auckland Zoo. We had a great time hanging out together, seeing all kinds of interesting animals and birds. It was a real family adventure that we will remember for a long time.
